Company Matching Gifts

As a 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code, GRACE Scholars is eligible to receive matching gifts from many companies. This gives many donors the opportunity to double or triple the size of their gifts to GRACE. As each company sets its own rules, process and eligibility vary. Typically, the donor secures a form from the company website or human resources department, completes it and sends it to GRACE. GRACE completes the charity’s section on the form and sends it back to the company. The company issues a check to GRACE according to its disbursement schedule.

If the donor designated his or her gift, then GRACE will also designate the company’s match to the same designation unless company rules provide otherwise.
